The Application:

Our application is designed to mirror common application processes within the business world. We want all of our applicants to have this experience to rely on, before going for the ‘real thing’ in the future. This will instill confidence in the ability to tackle applications at an early stage and combat the fear of the unknown. 

Who can apply?

• Over 16 

• Want to build a successful career in one of our chosen business areas 

• Are studying at or went to a state-educated secondary school

There are no academic requirements

How does it work?

Over a six month period, you will develop a relationship with your mentor through a series of interactions, including
meetings, phone calls and events.

One-to-ones

We ask for 3 one-to-one sessions with your mentors. We encourage the first session to be hosted by the mentors at their place of work, to give their mentees an insight into a corporate environment. We also advise the mentees to choose where the second session is held, ideally taking the mentor to a place that is important to them, so they can understand the challenges that have faced the mentee to get to where they have. For the last session, we believe that should be a joint decision based off the previous two experiences. 

Workshops

We hold a series of workshops over the course of the programme, which our mentees have preferential access to. These
workshops are designed to give you the edge when applying for your dream job in the future.
